Why this gn cover earns its place
The rolltop cover is where the APS Frames system shifts from display piece to proper serving infrastructure. Drop it over a loaded Frames basket and you've closed off the food from dust, stray hands and the ambient kitchen environment — critical during the gap between the starter and main course, or across a buffet service that runs several hours. The clear plastic means your display stays visible; customers see the food quality without being able to reach it.
The polycarbonate is food-safe and won't cloud with repeated cleaning. The roller mechanism is smooth and intuitive — your service team will operate it without thinking, which matters when you're under time pressure between seatings. At 1.52 kg, it's substantial enough that it won't tip or slide easily when someone opens it partway, but light enough for one staff member to position and remove without strain.
The cover is truly stackable, making storage efficient. Stack three or four of these at the end of service and they won't topple or lock together. That speed between courses is a real operational advantage — rather than hand-washing ten covers, you set them aside and clean them once, after the entire service ends.
