Why this bottle & ice tub earns its place
This is the tub you fill with ice and stand on the counter when drinks need to serve themselves. At 49 cm across it takes a proper spread of bottles rather than a token few, so a welcome drink, a bar-top offer or a table at a function can run without someone fetching from a fridge every ninety seconds. Guests can see what is available and reach it, which is the whole point of putting drinks in a tub instead of behind a bar.
Galvanised steel is the right build for the job because the job is permanently cold and wet. The tub spends a service holding ice and meltwater, gets emptied, gets refilled the next day, and the finish has to take that without complaint. The silver metal look also works on its own as presentation — it does not need dressing to sit on a bar top or a trestle. Two practical notes from use: carry it into position empty and fill it there, because 49 cm of ice, bottles and meltwater is heavy and awkward once loaded; and set it where the meltwater can be tipped out easily at the end, since a tub that size takes a while to drain and drip.
