Why this crates & boxe earns its place
Churchill's wood crate brings genuine texture to a buffet spread. Acacia wood has the grain and warmth that commands attention on a display table — it reads as thoughtfully arranged rather than simply laid out. The compact 50mm height works as a low platform for small items: pastries, canapés, bread rolls, or charcuterie arranged at different levels to draw the eye.
The magic is in nesting. Stack two or three of these crates at different heights and your buffet becomes a tiered landscape. A caterer who sets out everything flat loses half the visual impact; a small pile of crates transforms the same spread into something that looks carefully composed. They're robust enough to carry loaded food without flex or splinter — acacia is a hardwood, not cardboard staging.
At 0.8 kg per crate, they're light enough to stack and move between service setups, but solid in hand. Dimensions of 258mm wide × 397mm deep × 50mm high slot naturally alongside standard serving platters and bowls. Brown finish reads neutral on any table setting, from contemporary minimalist to rustic-heavy themed events.
