Why this display stand earns its place
A two-tier counter top display stand and base in oak, finished black. It exists to solve the counter problem every operator runs into: the surface fills up, and once it fills up the newest thing on it stops being visible. Going vertical is the fix, and two tiers on one base gives you a second display level without a second position on the counter.
The stand is 476 mm tall and 212 mm deep. The height puts the upper tier at the level a standing customer scans first, so whatever leads the display leads properly instead of sitting flat among everything else. The depth is the number that decides whether it earns its place on a busy counter — 212 mm sits it against a back edge or a wall and leaves the front of the counter as working space, which is where the till, the card machine and the bagging actually happen.
Black is the finish that gets out of the way. Against a dark stand, pale food, white crockery and coloured packaging carry all the contrast, which is why black works so well in a room with dark fixtures or low lighting — the display reads and the furniture underneath it does not. It is solid oak, so there is real mass in the base and no give when someone reaches across to the top tier. Clean it as timber: clear the levels, damp cloth, dry it off, and keep it out of standing water.
