Why this cold drink dispenser earns its place
Breakfast buffets and pastry displays demand a display that's elegant, practical and gets out of the way when service ends. The APS Sewing Basket Buffet Box does all three. Built from high-quality oiled oak with a distinctive woven appearance, it's designed to be a genuine eye-catcher on the floor – the kind of piece that guests photograph before they eat.
The three independent tiers each measure 370 × 290mm and sit 70mm apart, giving you three usable surfaces without taking up excessive counter space. When fully opened, the box reaches 535mm tall and spans 705 × 370mm – substantial enough to display generous quantities of fruit, breads, croissants, pastries or cheeseboards. The tiered approach means you can dress each level differently: soft cheeses on one, warm croissants on another, and preserves or honey pots on the third. Guests naturally reach at different heights, which feels more intentional than a flat display.
When service ends, the entire structure collapses down to 280mm tall and just 370 × 290mm footprint – the size of a large baking tray. It's completely lockable once collapsed, so there's zero risk of it folding accidentally during movement or storage. At 5kg, it's easily managed by one person. The write-on plate beneath the open lid lets you label each tier – helpful for dietary information, ingredients, or simply naming your offerings.
