Why this bottle pourer earns its place
A pourer's flow rate decides how a bar feels to work behind. Medium-fast puts the liquid through the spout quickly enough that a round of long drinks builds without waiting on the bottle, while still leaving a count the bartender can hold to. That is the balance most wet-led bars want: seconds back on every drink, without the pour getting away from whoever is holding it. Controlled dispensing is the point — no splashing across the rail, no topping a glass past where it should stop.
The polycork stopper is what keeps it in the bottle. It compresses into the neck to seal and grip, so the pourer stays put when a bottle is snatched off the rail and dropped back one-handed, and unlike natural cork it does not dry out or crumble after being washed and refitted day after day. Chrome and stainless steel is the standard finish behind a bar for good reason: it wipes down, shrugs off citrus and sugar, and does not carry the smell of the last bottle it sat in.
