Why this mould earns its place
Premium spirits deserve premium ice. The Beaumont silicone ice ball mould is designed for bars that want to elevate the craft — large format ice balls that melt slowly, stay clear, and look deliberately made. Each mould produces balls with a hole in the top, so you can add garnish, herb, or colour to the ice itself before freezing, turning a simple serve into a talking point.
Food-grade silicone is the right material here. It's flexible enough to pop balls out cleanly without cracking or losing your work, durable enough for hundreds of freezing cycles, and safe for anything you'd put in a drink. Freezer-safe at the temperatures your prep kitchen runs, dishwasher-safe for quick cleaning, and soft enough that ice balls release without damage.
The mould sits flat in your freezer — 180 mm wide, 120 mm deep — and takes maybe 4–6 hours to set depending on your freeze temperature. Once set, the silicone grips just enough to hold the ball safely during removal but releases instantly with a gentle flex. It's the kind of tool that premium bars keep stocked, not because they have to, but because it changes the experience.
