Why this dishe earns its place
The 200 mm Churchill Alchemy Cook and Serve oval dish brings shape and restraint to the table. Its elongated profile offers a different canvas from conventional round cookware, while the clean white glaze and simple lines devised by British designer Sebastian Conran keep the presentation contemporary rather than fussy.
It is made to work, not merely to look the part. The Alchemy fine-china body uses a high alumina content for superior strength in demanding catering environments. A chip-resistant rolled edge adds resilience where knocks tend to happen, and the glazed foot gives the underside a properly finished surface.
Each oval dish holds 284 ml, or 10 oz as stated by the manufacturer, within its 200 mm width. The 12-piece pack gives a service a coordinated set, and dishwasher-safe care helps it return to use with less effort after a busy sitting.
