Why this pan lid earns its place
This is a serious workhorse pot. At 10 litres and with tall, squared sides, it's sized for the real volumes kitchens need — batch stock, soups, braises that serve a room. The 240 mm (roughly 9-inch) base and matching depth mean you get usable headroom without the wobble that comes from skinny, tall pots on open flame.
It's made from food-grade stainless steel (JYH21CT, a commercial standard), so it won't pit, taint, or age poorly under daily use and hard washing. The straight sides and flat base are there for stability and heat distribution. Because it's induction-compatible alongside gas, electric, ceramic and halogen, it fits any kitchen retrofit or hob mix. Pop it in the dishwasher when you're done — it's designed to take it.
The lid seals the pot loosely enough for slow simmering, tight enough to hold heat when you need it. Nothing fancy, nothing unnecessary. Just the pot you reach for first when you need to cook properly.
