Why this wine glasse earns its place
The smaller of Utopia's Imperial line, this stemmed glass is UKCA marked at 175ml (holding 250ml total)—ideal for venues serving measured aperitifs, fortified wines or small wines where precision and legal compliance matter. It's the same solid one-piece construction as the larger 340ml Imperial, but proportioned for drinks that don't need the full wine-glass pour.
At 169mm tall and 75mm bowl width, it's a noticeably more delicate profile than the larger Imperial without being fragile. The UKCA mark certifies that a fill to the line delivers exactly 175ml—useful if you're measuring sherry, port, vermouth or small-pours wine service. The extra 75ml capacity is buffer for head space and the safety margin that prevents spillage.
Built with the same durability as the full-size Imperial, these are one-piece goblets with no stem joint to fail. They survive repeated commercial dishwashing (500+ cycles) without clouding or becoming brittle. The smaller size actually makes them less likely to break in busy service—shorter height, smaller bowl, less leverage on the stem.
