Why this tumbler earns its place
These are classic rocks or tumbler glasses from the Convention Crystal range — the style used in proper whisky bars and upmarket restaurants. At 285ml, they're the right volume for neat spirits over ice: whisky, rum, vodka, or as a simple long drink. Like the highballs, they have a rounded stable base that keeps the glass steady on a table or bar, even when crowded.
The wider diameter (80mm) compared to the highball gives you room to hold the glass comfortably without covering the spirit, and lets ice show properly in the glass. Crystal clarity is important here — the colour of the spirit (golden whisky, clear gin) is part of the presentation.
