Why this tumbler earns its place
The 340ml rocks tumbler is the workhorse format — the glass you reach for when someone orders a short drink. At 83mm tall and 92mm in diameter, it's proportioned for spirits, cola, juice, or iced water. The design is clean and minimal; there's nowhere for sediment or residue to hide, so the glass stays optically bright through hundreds of washes.
What makes these glasses resilient is their engineering. The thick, weighted base anchors the glass on the bar or table — it doesn't slide easily, and when it gets knocked (and it will), that mass works against shattering. Rolled edges round off the pour-line, which does two things: it looks more refined than a raw cut, and it's much less likely to chip. In a pub or restaurant running high volume, fewer broken glasses per month is real savings.
Soda-lime glass is the standard for commercial service. It's dishwasher safe and handles the thermal shock of the machine night after night. The minimalist form means faster drying and easier stacking — operational details that add up over service. You get reliability without fussiness.
