Why this tumbler earns its place
The Diaz rocks glass is a short, wide tumbler at 34cl with the same faceted sides that echo cut crystal, built from tough soda-lime glass. The width gives a rocks glass its presence at the bar — wide enough to hold ice and a spirit without crowding, stubby enough to fit in a hand. Soda-lime is the practical choice for a bar where glasses break and reset is fast; the facets add visual polish without adding cost or fragility.
In service, the 34cl capacity is right for a double spirit pour with room for ice; the glass holds temperature longer than a tall tumbler. The faceted finish helps disguise fingerprints and water spots, so the glass looks cleaner longer. Because soda-lime is durable, you don't have to baby these through the wash or train staff to handle them differently than any other bar glass.
