Why this shot glasse earns its place
A shot glass has one job: hold exactly the right amount of spirit, feel balanced in the hand, and survive being set down hard on a wooden bar a thousand times a night. The Salto is engineered for that job. The weighted base is intentional — it lowers the centre of gravity so the glass doesn't tip easily, and it means the whole thing sits with authority on the table. The rounded design has no sharp geometry to catch on the bar's edge or a drinker's teeth. It's a kind of design that doesn't announce itself but makes the work easier.
At 60ml, this is a true shot: enough for a standard measure (25ml, 35ml, or 50ml depending on your region and spirits), with a little room to handle variations. The glass is soda-lime — durable, ordinary, exactly what a workhorse glass should be. It goes in the dishwasher and comes out the same. Scratches and wear are just the job.
Forty-eight to a pack is the stock depth a working bar needs. You're running 20–30 through service at any moment, another 10–15 in the wash, and a reserve of fresh glasses ready. If you lose two or three a week to breakage (and you will), a 48-pack is your buffer. It's cheaper to buy in volume than to nurse six glasses through a shift.
