Why this hi ball earns its place
The 350ml hiball sits between smaller tumblers and larger long-drink glasses—a genuine middle ground that works across most bar service. It's tall enough to look proper (140mm), narrow enough to feel right in the hand (78mm wide), and it holds enough for a substantial mixed drink. Built from fully tempered glass, it's engineered to survive the thermal and physical stresses of professional service: rapid temperature swings, impacts against bar tops, high-speed dishwashing cycles.
Tempered glass is a manufacturing choice, not a coating or treatment. The glass structure is modified at the molecular level to be roughly four times stronger than regular glass, and when it finally breaks, it fragments into safe, blunt pieces. For venues where staff are moving glassware constantly—clearing tables, restocking bars, running dishwashers—that's meaningful protection.
