Why this hi ball earns its place
The highball is the workhorse of bar service. It's the glass for spirits with mixers, tall drinks, soft drinks, and anything that needs ice and doesn't fit neatly into another category. These Arcoroc glasses do that job without pretence.
At 110mm tall and 230ml, they're proportioned for a standard-size drink — roughly 8oz of liquid with room for a good handful of ice. The diameter is narrow enough that the glass doesn't sprawl across the bar but wide enough that you can reach in with tongs. Blown glass (as opposed to pressed) means the rim is more durable; you won't chip it serving 50 drinks a night.
Glasswasher safe is the phrase that matters. These go in, they come out clean, they go back on the shelf. No hand-drying required, no babying through the service. That's what bars and restaurants need: glassware that absorbs punishment and keeps working.
