Why this beer glasse earns its place
This is the workhorse beer glass for busy venues. Clear glass, simple conical shape, 160 mm tall and 90 mm wide at the rim—proportions that fit into standard dishwasher baskets and won't take up precious shelf space behind the bar. It holds 285 ml (10 oz), and it's UKCA-marked, which means the measure is stamped into the glass itself so there's no confusion about the pour and no fiddling with optics or jiggers when the bar's slammed.
The real trick is the nucleated base. Those tiny etched grooves act like seed crystals for bubbles—they trigger and sustain the head on lager, ale, cider or any carbonated drink. A proper head sticks around in these glasses; you don't watch it collapse after two minutes. That matters: a full head sells the pour, looks better in a pint glass, and actually improves the drink's flavour profile.
