These oval lids fit the Churchill Alchemy Ambience 426ml teapots (CC417) and are built in porcelain with a glazed finish matching the pots. The glaze surfaces smoothly and resists marking from use, presenting polished in a mixed service where some pots are lidded and others poured immediately.
The set of six lets you maintain the full teapot complement even if some lids chip or break. They seal snugly enough to hold heat in the pot for 10–15 minutes—adequate when tea sits in a warmer or moves between tables. They stack without tilting and survive the passthrough dishwasher without issue, so they don't become a manual-wash bottleneck on a busy washdown.
Churchill Alchemy lids are harder-fired porcelain and chip less readily than standard hotel china. The glaze cures to a high sheen that cleans without streaking, matching the pot finish even under mixed service conditions.
