Why this platter earns its place
The gondola platter is a workhorse serving dish: elongated oval, pure white porcelain, designed for shared appetisers, cured meats, or plated garnishes at the centre of a table. At 560 mm, it bridges small and large tables without dominating the cover.
Olympia's fully vitrified body withstands thermal shock and impact without chip-risk—important for high-turnover service where platters stack warm and hit cold wash water. The white glaze is utterly neutral, which means a chef's plating choices matter, and the kitchen is not fighting a pattern or tone. Stackable design saves prep space: ramekins nest inside larger platters during storage and transport.
The gondola shape is distinctive enough to anchor a table but simple enough that no season, event type, or menu style looks out of place with it. Freezer-safe and dishwasher-rated, so mise-en-place built in advance never ages out.
