Why this platter earns its place
Porto is Dudson's take on Portuguese azulejo tilework — a hand-painted mosaic pattern in blue that lifts a simple platter into a statement piece. The rectangular 215 × 369 mm format is the modest servant's platter: wide enough to hold four or five pieces of cured meat, narrow enough to pass hand to hand at table without dominating a place setting.
Finest vitrified porcelain takes dishwasher heat and abrasive polish. The patterned glaze is individual — no two pieces will be absolutely identical — which adds visual richness when you lay out a board of three or four platters for a sharing menu. Colour runs cool and deep, so it looks good under restaurant lighting and photographs cleanly for social media.
At 129 mm tall and stackable, a 12-pack covers several settings for catering events and stores efficiently in standard racking. The rectangular shape nests tightly — no wobbling stacks. Weight per piece is low enough that waiting staff move them comfortably.
