Why this plate earns its place
Vitrified porcelain is the default for commercial kitchens because it fires so hard that it resists the small chipping that would crack earthenware. These coupe plates come from the Classic White range — a working range, not a fashion range — which means the glaze and shape stay unchanged. That matters: when you need to replace stock in eighteen months, you order more Classic White, not a discontinued variant.
The narrow rim is the coupe design. It gives you more usable surface at table — the plate feels bigger to the diner — while still fitting standard plate warmers and dishwashers. A 260 mm coupe takes a full service's worth of meat, vegetables and sauce without crowding.
These plates are dishwasher and freezer safe, which means they can cycle through a passthrough without degrading, and they stack stable enough for transport in a racking system.
