Why this plate earns its place
The 305mm wide rim gives you a buffer zone between the plated food and the edge, making it the go-to size when you want visual control. The rim itself is wide enough to run a sauce stripe or place garnish without fear it'll be knocked off during service or plating.
Super-vitrified ceramic won't absorb the moisture that causes crazing — that web of fine cracks that spreads across cheaper plates after a few thousand wash cycles. The glaze is fused at high temperature, creating a hard, non-porous surface that resists the thermal stress of going from hot wash to cool storage repeatedly.
The footed base is subtly practical: it creates a gap between stacked plates that reduces pressure on the rim, the weak point in high-volume service. In the pass, you can stack these without the bottom plate marking or rocking.
