Why this bowl earns its place
The Steelite Rio Blue Soup Plate brings a practical 215mm format and a strong visual accent to commercial table service. Made from porcelain, it has a round shape, a blue glazed finish and is supplied in a 24-pack.
Rio's hand-applied colour wash is designed to create an informal bistro effect, giving the plate more character than an anonymous plain surface. This soup plate has a durable glaze and is designed to resist thermal shock, useful qualities for a busy restaurant, hotel or café where crockery moves repeatedly between service and the wash-up area.
For the day-to-day handling details, the specification confirms that these plates are dishwasher safe and freezer safe. The product also carries a Lifetime Edge Chip warranty, while the 24-pack provides a consistent quantity for service, replacement stock or a larger tableware order.
