Why this plate earns its place
Dudson's Harvest range in stoneware coupe carries the softness of hand-thrown pottery into commercial service. The 264 mm plate sits between a bread plate and a full dinner service, making it the standard reach for dessert, cheese, or starter plating where you want breathing room but not table bulk. The organic patterned glaze brings intentional surface texture—warmth that holds without requiring hand-painted labour, so each plate repeats true.
Coupe shape means no rim catch. Stacked tight on a shelf, they cut vertical storage in half versus a walled plate, and they nest stable enough that a full shelf doesn't need padding or wedges. Glazed stoneware rings at a higher pitch than heavily earthed bodies, and that acoustic signature tells you immediately when one has chipped. It also means the glaze seals the material properly: water sits on the surface, not into it.
Dishwasher-safe. All twelve plates survive a full commercial cycle at 65 °C and come away without pattern fade. The weight—under 700 grams per plate—keeps the pack manageable for single-handed stacking and unpacking, and the neutral patterned surface holds plating without competing for attention.
