Why this jug earns its place
The Churchill Isla jug is a small white ceramic pouring vessel from a coastal-inspired range, finished with a subtle dappled surface. At 560 ml, it holds enough cold milk or cream for a full table's worth of hot drinks without needing to return to the station. The 50 mm height keeps it low-profile on a table or coffee station, and the compact size means it won't crowd a place setting when milk is poured table-side.
Super vitrified ceramic is built to withstand repeated pouring and washing. The dapple is molded into the ceramic rather than glazed on, so the finish survives dozens of wash cycles without wearing off or crazing. A single jug weighs only 70 grams, so staff can carry six or eight easily to restock multiple tables during service.
The 560 ml capacity is the middle ground for milk service — too small and you'll be refilling every five minutes; larger than this and the jug becomes awkward to pour and weighs more when full. Dishwasher-safe through standard commercial cycles, so the jug goes straight from table to pass to clean. This is the workhorse size for milk in a café or hotel, matching the Isla sugar bowl and other pieces for a cohesive table presence.
