Why this saucer earns its place
A double-well saucer holds liquid better than a flat saucer, so less splashes onto trays or tablecloths when mugs are moving during service. The 150 mm diameter is the standard size for regular mugs and smaller latte cups, matching the 250–340 ml mugs in this range. Porcelain construction resists the water spotting and staining that softer plates pick up when milk and coffee spill frequently; the glazed finish is forgiving through industrial dishwashing. Stackable design means the saucers nest efficiently, freeing back-of-house space for other equipment — a small saving per saucer, but meaningful across 50 or 100 of them. Accredited to BS4034, the Pure White range is formulated to withstand commercial use: the fired porcelain is dense enough to resist water absorption, and the glaze holds up through hundreds of passthrough wash cycles without dulling or chipping.
