The Steelite Revolution Sandstone saucer gives drinks service a larger 152mm footprint, with yellow China crockery supplied in a 12-pack. It is a considered format for cafés, restaurants and hotels that need a saucer with room to frame the cup and accompanying service.
The Sandstone character is created through Revolution's reactive glaze process. The glazes can change in colour and intensity depending on their application, and each piece is finished by hand using a revolving motion. The path of the brush remains visible after firing, so the finished saucers carry the evidence of that process.
