Why this saucer earns its place
This is an espresso saucer, 116 mm in diameter—sized to sit beneath a proper espresso cup, not oversized. Black stoneware with soft rolled edges, matching the durability logic of the Olympia Café espresso cup (HC402) so the full service reads as one set. Twelve saucers per pack keeps rotation efficient through a busy espresso service. The smaller diameter means less contact area on a crowded counter, which also means less chance of rim damage when cups and saucers stack or slide past each other. Stoneware holds up to full dishwasher cycles.
Espresso service is quick and dense—three or four rounds in ten minutes, sometimes more. Matching saucer sizes matter because mismatched pieces feel cheap and they create handling problems for staff (oversized saucers slide under cups, undersized ones don't catch spills). This saucer keeps the visual cohesion and the practical stability.
