White vitrified china doesn't stain or retain coffee smell the way unglazed ceramics do, and the glaze resists chipping through daily handling and dishwashing.
At 159 mm diameter, this is sized for a cappuccino cup rather than an espresso or macchiato — large enough to catch drips without dominating the table setting. Finest vitrified means dishwasher resilience: runs through 60–70 °C cycles without crazing or degradation, stacks compactly without friction marks, and the glazed surface sheds water and coffee residue cleanly. Stack in dozens without weight becoming an issue.
