Why this mug earns its place
These 340ml mugs bring the tactile look of stoneware to the cup and mug service. The Terrace Truffle finish uses a semi-matt glaze that pools across the simple embossment, giving the beige surface the impression of hand-worked, semi-precious stone while keeping the centre visually clean.
The vitrified-stoneware construction gives each mug a substantial feel, and the stated width is 92mm with a 123mm depth and 85mm height. Twelve mugs are supplied in the pack, making it straightforward to stock a consistent set for drinks service.
The polished foot is designed to reduce the risk of damage when the mugs are stacked or stored. Steelite states that these mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe, so they can move from preparation to service and back through routine cleaning without losing the practical focus of the design.
