Why this cup earns its place
A 10.5oz mug is the workhorse of any tea and coffee service. At 300 ml, it holds a full mug of filter coffee or a generous cup of tea without the mug looking sparse or overfilled at the table. The 87 mm diameter sits comfortably in a hand; the 82 mm height keeps the saucer visible underneath. Porcelain fired to high temperature conducts heat efficiently—your coffee stays warm through the drink without burning the customer's palm.
Hand-dipped duck egg glaze means no two mugs are identical. The reactive colours layer differently on each piece, creating variation that reads as character. This is not defect; it's the product. Contemporary straight sides are the default in modern cafés—they pack efficiently, look clean on the shelf, and sit naturally on a saucer when set at the table.
Packs of twelve work for mid-sized cafés running six to eight covers per service. Porcelain glaze is durable, but hand-dipped reactive finishes can be thinner at the rim than plain white, so inspect for chips on handover and stack with care between washes.
