Why this mug earns its place
A 230ml stoneware mug — standard cappuccino or americano size for café and hotel service. Stoneware is mid-fired clay, denser than earthenware but less vitrified than porcelain; it retains heat long enough for table or room-service delivery without overheating hands. It survives dishwashing and daily use better than thinner ceramic.
The rolled rim edges resist chipping when mugs collide or get knocked against the espresso machine. 230ml is the standard cappuccino fill — goes to about 20mm from the rim with milk and crema, leaving a working margin for service staff and a visual cue for consistent portions.
Stacks compactly in kitchen storage and runs through the dishwasher without fuss. The red finish is bold — it reads as a deliberate aesthetic choice, useful if your venue wants mugs that stand out visually on the table.
