Why this metal mug earns its place
This mug offers the thermal performance of the smooth copper version but trades visual finish for tactile depth. The hammered texture catches light differently across each impact point, which lifts the visual appeal of a cocktail at the moment of service. At 450 ml, it takes a full drink plus ice. Stainless steel holds cold longer than any other material in common bar use, so a pre-chilled mug keeps a cocktail at serving temperature through the first half of service.
The hammered pattern is part of the electroplating, not an applied texture, so it does not wear away. Each mug looks slightly different due to the manual hammering process, which adds variety to a bar with mixed stock. Interior is smooth stainless for ice and stirring. Height is 147 mm and width 74 mm, so it sits stable on the bar and takes a standard straw or pick.
Freezer-safe means you chill a batch between services. Dishwasher-safe simplifies the back-of-house, though hand-drying after each cycle maintains the finish. The hammered detail and copper tone work in bars with eclectic or artisanal design schemes, especially those emphasising craft.
