Why this cups & mug earns its place
This 30 cl mug is the breakfast mug, the teapot-refill mug, the café regular's mug. Vitrified porcelain holds heat better than stoneware—the glaze traps warmth—and the thickness of the body means a full mug of boiling water will not cool sharply in the hand. The delicate embossment is cast into the fired form, so it adds presence at table without asking for gentleness.
The handle is angled to sit comfortably in the grip and wide enough that you can get a full hand into it, even with a napkin. At 30 cl, it holds a full teapot pour or a large coffee service. Vitrified porcelain survives the combined assault of boiling water, commercial detergent, and high-temperature washing without crazing or chipping.
