THE WORKING VIEW

Why this cup earns its place

The 180 ml cup is the workhorse size for a cafe or restaurant coffee service. It holds a full mug of filter coffee with room for a saucer and doesn't leave the drinker hunting for the last sip — important on a busy service where customers need their coffee quickly and hot. At 60 mm tall and 77 mm wide, the cup sits comfortably in the hand and the proportions work with standard saucers without looking oversized.

Super-vitrified ceramic is built for the thermal shock of hot coffee poured into a cold cup and the repeated stress of passthrough washing. The white glaze resists staining and the hand-cast finish gives the cup enough texture to grip safely even when your hands are wet or busy. At 0.15 kg per cup, the weight is substantial enough to feel solid underhand without tiring staff across a full service.

Pack of six runs a single coffee station through a morning rush or covers coffee service at a small venue. Dishwasher-safe, so you can run fast cycles between covers without worrying about degradation or chipping.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Questions, answered straight

Yes. A standard cappuccino is 150–180 ml milk and espresso combined. This cup gives you a tight fit with a clean rim — any larger and the crema and texture of the drink gets lost in extra space.

Super-vitrified ceramic has good heat retention. A full cup will stay drinkable for four to five minutes if you warm the cup with hot water beforehand. Without prewarming, expect three to four minutes before it cools to hand-warm.

Yes. The 180 ml size works for black tea, herbal tea, and hot chocolate. White glaze won't stain from tannins or cocoa — just rinse between services as normal.

These are designed to stack, though you should stack loosely to avoid pressure marks on the glaze. Six cups in a tight stack won't take up much shelf space.

Super-vitrified ceramic conducts heat, so expect the handle to warm up. Not dangerously hot, but warm enough that staff will carry the saucer or wrap a napkin around the handle on a busy service. This is normal for ceramic cups and works as a safety indicator for customers too.
