Why this cup earns its place
An 85ml espresso cup in fine china, sized for a single shot (30ml) plus milk or a cortado (50ml espresso in 100ml milk). At 60mm diameter and 50mm height, it feels full when poured, not undersized. The geometric embossment is contemporary and does not distract from the coffee. Fine china with added alumina is tougher than plain vitrified china—it resists the dulling that comes with hundreds of dishwasher cycles.
Espresso cups sit on standard 127mm saucers with room to spare, so you can place a coffee cup on breakfast china without crowding the setting. The handle is snug for smaller hands and espresso-speed service—hold, sip, set down. At 82g, the cup has presence and does not feel disposable. Weight matters: guests judge quality by how the cup feels before they taste the coffee.
Packed 12 to a case, they stack and wash efficiently. In a high-volume café or hotel breakfast room where you pull espresso shots back-to-back, 24 cups (two cases) keeps the queue moving while one batch washes.
