Why this cup earns its place
Cappuccino, flat white and latte all need space for milk and foam. A 340ml cup allows a double shot of espresso (60ml) topped with 250ml of steamed milk and microfoam without spilling when the customer reaches for it. The black exterior and white interior is the classic café look — modern without trying too hard, and practical because the interior doesn't show milk staining.
Stoneware is the right material here because the cup needs to handle the thermal shock of hot espresso meeting cold milk (even if you're steaming it). It also stands up to repeated dishwasher cycles without the glaze crazing or discolouring. The rolled edges prevent rim damage, which matters because the edge is where cups fail first — a sharp edge chips easily; a rolled one flexes and survives. Microwave-safe if you need to reheat, freezer-safe for storage, and durable enough for venues that run 200+ cappuccinos a day.
