Why this bowl earns its place
A 205mm diameter bowl raised on a foot, holding 1580ml—enough for a full serve of broth with noodles or rice. The footed base lifts the bowl slightly off the table, practical for casual dining where grease may pool beneath a resting bowl. The glaze is reactive midnight blue, matching the Luna plate range, so diners see a coordinated table.
Stoneware thickness is sufficient for hot service straight from the pass. The unglazed foot does more than look traditional: it grips the table and prevents the bowl sliding when a diner twists noodles against the rim. Stack for storage—the glaze is chip-resistant in normal wear, and the footed base creates air gaps between stacked pieces.
The 1580ml capacity holds most soup and noodle portions without overspill. Microwave and passthrough dishwashers are both fine; not suitable for freezer storage. A 4-pack is a single cover's worth for a tasting menu, or a backup set for smaller venues.
