Why this bowl earns its place
The 155mm bowl at 455ml is the workhorse size for soup, sides, or a small shared plate. At that capacity and diameter, it's comfortable to hold with one hand, deep enough to contain sauce without spilling, and proportioned so two bowls don't crowd a place setting.
Olympia's Chia porcelain has a reactive glaze with an intentional uneven edge and white rim—each bowl has natural colour variation that reads as intentional finish, not manufacturing inconsistency. The charcoal grey plays well alongside any tableware. Porcelain holds temperature reasonably well, keeping soup hot for a few minutes on table without constant attention.
Stackable design saves cabinet space, which matters when bowls need rotation through high-volume dishwashing. Dishwasher-safe throughout and durable enough for daily service across multiple seatings. The reactive glaze can develop staining in the pattern over time—cosmetic only, part of this finish's character.
