Why this bowl earns its place
The 9.6-inch (244 mm) Harvest bowl sits between entrée and share — a half-portion bowl, or a full starter if you're running small courses. The coupe profile keeps content visible and accessible without tipping; the sloped sides work for both hot and cold service. Stoneware conducts heat steadily and retains it through a turn; the glazed surface resists the stains that accumulate on lighter ceramics during a full service.
The patterned glaze sets these apart from stock white crockery. Mediterranean-inspired organic marks are integral to the kiln-fire, not painted on — they won't fade, flake or wear away with repeated washing. Each bowl catches light slightly differently; the pattern hides dust and minor scratches that would show plainly on a flat glaze, and that matters when pieces are stacked in a hot pass-through wash at pace.
At 244 mm across and packed 12 to a box, these stack efficiently without lids or separators. The bowl's weight (628 g per piece) is substantial enough to feel secure in hand during service and to resist chipping if it takes a knock on the plate-landing station. Dishwasher safe after every turn; no special handling needed.
