Why this bowl earns its place
The 7.9-inch (200 mm) Harvest bowl is the starter course size — soup, a dipping bowl, or sides at a place setting. The coupe shape makes it easy for service staff to reach in without spillage; the sloped sides suit both hot soup service (the bowl keeps contents visible) and cold starters. Stoneware holds heat through a full turn, which matters when a 100-cover service means 100 soup bowls going through the wash in rapid cycles.
The patterned glaze is the differentiator. Mediterranean-inspired organic marks are fired into the material during kiln-work — they're not paint, so they won't fade with repeated washing or exposure to acidic foods. The texture catches light and hides watermarks, dust and minor scratches that would show on a plain white glaze. For a busy kitchen, that means fewer pieces rejected as "too marked" for service.
At 200 mm across and packed 12 to a box, these pack tight and stack efficiently without separators. The 625 g weight per piece is dense enough that the bowl feels secure in hand during portioning and survives a bump on the landing station. Dishwasher safe after every service; no special handling.
