Why this bowl earns its place
Raku glaze—hand-applied to each bowl—creates subtle variation across a set. The finish looks intentional rather than factory, which matters when a dish carries its own visual weight. Triangular profile sits between a small dish and a side plate; 238mm width is right for a single dip, sauce, or appetiser portion without looking sparse on a larger table setting.
Porcelain base is harder than stoneware and won't chip at the rim under standard dishwasher use or casual hand-washing. The black glaze is applied deep enough that light scratches from service don't show. A 12-pack gives rotation stock—never running the same bowl straight back to back keeps wear even.
Stackable design stacks twelve bowls into minimal back-of-house space. Use them for dips, sauce courses, or single-bite starters. The shallow profile stops service from trying to overfill what looks like a small dish, and the triangular base sits stable even on a crowded table or draped surface.
