Why this bowl earns its place
Studio Prints Raku brings reactive glaze to contemporary tableware — each piece gets a matte finish with subtle colour variation across the base. At 225 mm across, these deep bowls work as a sharing dish or a single-course bowl without overhanging a standard service plate. The Topaz Blue reads modern under plate lights and sits neutral enough on heritage or minimalist menus.
Porcelain holds heat through live service, keeping dipping sauce or soup at temperature. These stack vertically 3–4 high on dishwasher racks or in the pass without tipping, so your clean-up cycles stay fast. The flat base and simple rim work the glaze edge without a dust trap where residue can accumulate.
The matte glaze resists marking better than polished ceramic under aggressive service, though glaze edges will show patina over months of heavy use. Stock a rotation set if this is a high-turnover venue. The colour is kiln-fired into the ceramic and does not fade.
