Why this bowl earns its place
An 8cm bowl is a single bite or dip vessel—holds roughly 100–150 ml depending on depth. Melamine is dense plastic, fired hard and finished matt, so it won't chip like ceramic. It's lightweight, which matters when you're serving a hundred guests or stacking transport boxes. The matt white finish keeps visual focus on the food, not the bowl.
Melamine doesn't go in the dishwasher oven or microwave; it's for cold service and room-temperature plating. It works well for canapés, olives, nuts, hummus, or any composed appetiser that doesn't need heat.
