Why this bowl earns its place
The Mirage collection gives this bowl a wonderful contrasting background for food presentation. Melamine is the default choice where breakage is a real cost: kitchens that run three, four, or more services a day find the durability worth the trade-off. Grey sits neutral and lets food colour sit forward; it pairs well with white plates and keeps the eye on the dish.
This 21 cm bowl takes a full shared portion—roughly 1.3 litres—without crowding a table setting. At 70 mm depth it has working room for dips, sauces, or composed sides. Stacks flat for transport and storage, survives passthrough dishwashers on standard cycles, and the colour remains fast through thousands of washes.
Melamine does not tolerate direct heat—hold it off the pass if orders come close to boil. The material is food-safe but not for long-term storage of acidic items or oils.
