Why this bowl earns its place
The Zen series presents food at table in a format tuned to Asian and contemporary menus. The sloped 225 mm diameter and black melamine recreate the look of handthrown pottery — without the chip risk of porcelain or the weight of traditional stoneware.
The 800 ml capacity handles a full portion of soup, noodles, or shared vegetables. Melamine tolerates repeated hot rinses and passthrough dishwasher cycles without degradation, though prolonged exposure to very hot food can cause discoloration. At 0.45 kg per bowl, the weight is right for hand-held service.
The sloped sides nest tight when stacked, holding up 20+ bowls before storage becomes unwieldy. Handle with care against cutlery to avoid surface scratching, which is cosmetic and does not affect use.
