Why this bowl earns its place
At 380 mm, this is the visual centrepiece of a buffet table. Same 460 ml capacity as the smaller 320 mm bowl, but a larger diameter makes a dish look abundant—important psychology in event catering. The Granite Black finish reads premium without pretension; the non-porous surface keeps the bowl looking fresh under heat lamps and through hours of service. Melamine is the practical material for high-turnover buffet settings: lighter than porcelain, won't shatter if dropped, and wipes clean without the staining that ceramic absorbs.
The non-porous finish resists everything a buffet throws at it—oil, vinegar, turmeric stains from curries, red wine—none of it seeps into the surface. For venues running multiple events daily, where bowls move constantly and cleaning turnaround is tight, melamine outlasts ceramic by lasting longer between replacement. Stacking is tight; the bowls nestle together without sliding or tilting.
At 380 mm diameter, these take more space than the 320 mm bowl, so plan your transport accordingly. Weight is the real advantage: just over 300 g per bowl means staff can handle them confidently through a busy event. Important note: do not use in a microwave—the material can leach into food under direct heat. These are for buffet service and table presentation only.
