Why this bowl earns its place
A 125mm bowl with 390ml capacity is the standard working size for rice, noodles, or portions of light broth in Asian service. The 61mm depth holds a generous heap of rice without spilling during plating, and at that size it's nimble enough to carry to a table single-handed — lighter than the larger pasta bowl, faster to clear and reset.
Porcelain doesn't absorb sesame oil, soy sauce, or the residual flavours of ginger and garlic; each service starts clean. BS4034 accreditation means these have been tested for repeated thermal shock, important when you're plating piping-hot stock or fried rice straight onto the pass. The high-density glaze resists water staining and crazing even after weeks in hard-water areas, so they'll look new for months.
Stackable in groups of 8–10 without nesting damage, they're easy to store in a standard 300mm shelf depth. Dishwasher and microwave safe; the glaze is resistant to marking. A 24-pack gives you solid rotation for a busy lunch or dinner service.
