Why this dishe earns its place
These are the smallest in the Oriental range at 70 mm diameter. This size is specific to soy sauce and other liquid seasonings where a single diner needs a small, deep enough dish to dip without spilling. The 12-pack sizes to a single table or a small private group.
The shallow depth concentrates the sauce visibility: a diner can see at a glance whether the dish still has sauce or needs refreshing. White porcelain keeps the sauce colour true, so soy sauce looks black and chilli oil looks red — useful because the visual darkness signals strength and heat.
This scale works well for dim sum and small-plate service where the diner moves through multiple dishes. A fresh sauce dish with each course keeps flavours clean. The 12-pack is sized for a typical table service and doesn't over-stock a smaller venue's dishwashing capacity.
