Why this bowl earns its place
Small bowls sit between plating and serviceware. A 400ml snack bowl is deep enough for sauce, loose condiments, or a starter portion—short enough that one hand can reach the bottom of a full bowl, or that two can fit on the pass without crowding the table. Churchill's Stonecast range uses super vitrified ceramic, which is harder and denser than standard earthenware, so it resists the chips that chip off ordinary glazed bowls under service rhythm. Each piece carries the hand-decorated rustic finish and the contrasting rim that frames what goes into it.
Stacked in sleeves, twelve bowls in this size take up minimal cold storage. They run through standard dishwashing cycles and come out unharmed. The peppercorn grey works as a neutral background; it doesn't demand food styling and pairs across most table settings.
